Bike: Blur LT 2-XT Rapidfire

The Blur LT is one of those rare, hard to define machines, light and nimble enough to thrive in cut and dice woodsy singletrack riding, yet strong, plush and stable, and very much at home dropping down steep and scary terrain. And it climbs mighty nicely, too. It's a true jack-of-all-trades, with none of the compromises that usually implies. The LT has undergone a thorough revision, featuring a new frame design, new linkages and a new VPP suspension offering 140mm travel. The alloy lower link has grease ports and intricate labyrinth seals to operate in a clean, quiet, contaminant-free environment. The upper link is now molded from carbon fiber and the shock mount is isolated from the pivot axles. Beefy 15mm pivot axles bolt into the frame and feature aluminum collett-heads to secure the linkage, eliminating any chance of loosening or slop. If you could only have one bike, this would be the one.
