Silence is golden
Review by

I had CC build a set of wheels using Onyx hubs for my S-Works Stumpy- I couldn't be happier. You can't appreciate the silence of the freehub until you experience it first hand- the whole bike feels smoother and seems to glide along effortlessly. I'm a fan of other hub manufacturers, having Hope hubs and MAVIC wheels on other bikes, but the silence sets them apart. This bike coasts faster than my riding buddies- no matter how you slice it, all that clicking is drag. I've read a negative comment or two about setting the bearing preload on the rear hub. My fear was that I'd be messing with it all the time... Nope, set it when I first got it and haven't touched it since and I'm 1.5 years in. Planning to build a new Hardtail and it will be getting Onyx hubs.
