Colorado Cyclist Warranty Policy
At Colorado Cyclist we stand by the quality of the products we choose and expect them to make every ride better.
There can be times when things go wrong and we are here to help get you back on the bike. Our team make it as hassle-free as possible, handling claims as smoothly and quickly as possible.
Warranty Claims Assistance
We are happy to assist you with warranty claims related to defects. However, please note that warranty approval is subject to the conditions set by each manufacturer and is not guaranteed.
Colorado Cyclist will act as your agent and submit the claim on your behalf. We’ll communicate with the manufacturer and do our best to secure a favorable outcome, but we do not assume responsibility for the warranty decision itself beyond facilitating the claim process.
Manufacturer Warranty Exclusions
Most manufacturer warranties do not cover:
- Misuse or damage due to incorrect installation, poor maintenance, abuse, neglect, or using the product for unintended purposes.
- Alteration of products, unless expressly permitted in writing by Colorado Cyclist and/or the manufacturer.
- General wear and tear on consumable parts, such as tires, inner tubes, brake pads, chains, chainrings, cassettes, batteries, rims, light bulbs, and brake/gear cables.
- Corrosion or deterioration caused by material fatigue (the natural breakdown after extended use).
- Competition or event usage, as this greatly reduces the product's useful life and is not covered.
- Costs from loss of use or labor charges for part replacements or changeovers.
Important Warranty Details
- Non-transferable: Warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable.
- Proof of Purchase: A valid proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
- Replacement or Repair Coverage: Any part repaired or replaced under warranty is covered for the remainder of the original part's warranty period.
- End of Warranty Period: If a repair or replacement is not possible near the end of the warranty period, Colorado Cyclist reserves the right to offer:
1. An alternative of equal or greater value (color may vary), or
2. A partial refund proportional to the remaining product life.
Safe Usage and Compliance
Always install, repair, and use your product in strict accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Failure to do so may cause damage or lead to serious accidents.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
