A Great Safe Helmet
"This is a Great helmet! I have had a 6D before, but this newer model with the additional venting is really nice. Also this newer model is much lighter. You can’t beat the safety of 6D helmets!"

"My 2T (XXL) helmet is a redesign of your original 1T. In general, it is a beautiful redesign to the ground breaking double shell 1T. And for the 2% of the population who need the bigger helmet for hard to fit melon heads, the XXL is great. But for the 25% of us who just have a large head, it is not the best option. I will explain further. 1. You fixed much of the ventilation complaint that I and others had here in the dessert. Well done, and obviously you listened 2. The strap splitter that I got, is not as effective as the wider, earlier splitter, used by some other helmet builders. A+ for fidlock magnets, never let that go. 3. Either shrink your demographic for size, OR, this needs to be a 4-size helmet, not 3. People are buying this because of a belief in a better level of protection, especially concussion protection, and you can't get that with a loose fitting helmet, period. The XXL I have to use has no less than 1/2" of space around the sides and rear quarters. If I experience a collision, my head has to first collide with this helmet before the helmet can begin to attenuate any energy. Fundamental helmet design 101. Protection BEGINS with a helmet that fits closely (like my 6D FF which I will never let go of). 4. Guys, you completely ruined the visor, my biggest disappointment, complete fail. I may not crash every day, but need that visor every day. If I can't see the visor when tilted down on my head, it is not serving ANY practical purpose being there, namely shielding light (think car visors). Your original visor was the best visor in the industry, and it set your helmet apart, despite the loosening screws, which you gracefully sent me. The good news? The visor is the easiest retrofittable design challenge, and easily swapped out with one that makes sense. Create one with realistic shade angles and this helmet would get a B+. An aside most people don't payattention to, the ground radiates sun energy into our faces. A white visor reflects that UV right into our faces. A black one absorbs that energy instead. Make your visors black (or dark) whenever possible. Give us 4 sizes and I will give it an A++. Good old fashioned S, M, L, XL. 5 stars because you care, and continue to improve an already daunting design challenge."
