"I have ankle bones that stick out enough to get banged up from crank arms and sometimes rocks on technical trails. I used the ankle protectors for the first time this weekend and noticed the padding softening the blow from my crank arm - so far so good. They are pulled on over socks easy enough and I do not notice them on."

"These are cheap light weight and packable. They work well for small impacts, scratches, and occasional pedal bangs for mountain biking but, are certainly not made for a full armor set up for down hill or hard riding. They are perfect for the the light to aggressive rider looking for a little extra impact protection."
