Solid shoe but runs small.
"Solid shoe but runs small. The pros of this shoe are many: I like the grip on the sole as well as the firm arch support -- perfect for strong pedaling. I also like the higher ankle rise to protect it from banging on the trail. Also, the styling is hype! The con is that the sizing runs very small. I am a men's 8. 5 on a shoe fitter and ordered a size 9, and it was very cramped in the toe box to the point where long ride use is not realistic. Based on that experience, I would recommend sizing up a full size relative to you shoe size. Overall a well-made shoe, just keep the sizing in mind."

I bought this on sale,
"I bought this on sale, so it was a great value. I got it for running errands on my bike, since it looks like a "normal" shoe and is well constructed. It runs a bit small. At first I thought it was too small, but after moving my foot around and cinching down the laces, the thick and firm inside padding compacted enough that it fit. I have not ridden with these shoes yet, so I am not sure of their performance and comfort on the bike."

Very stiff, which is ideal
"Very stiff, which is ideal for on the bike. Build quality seems nice, I have been riding these for a few months pretty hard and they look brand new. I have wide feet and did not size up. ; they fit very snug so I would say sizing is true. (not wide or narrow) If I was hoping to wear these for casual use I would size up."

These remind me of some
"These remind me of some five one Os of old. They're solid and well constructed, but they are fairly bulky and warm as a result. I'm not sure what they'd be like in the higher temp climate, but I've been using them for fall and they'll be fantastic in winter. With a size us13 shoe, coupled to a set of crankbros mallet E, there is no issue with having enough space to avoid crank rub."
