They feature induction hardened cutting edges (approx. 64 HRC) for cutting soft, hard, and piano wire, and can handle materials like bolts, nails, and rivets up to 7/32" (5.6 mm) in diameter for medium hard materials and 5/32" for piano wire. The special joint design provides a 40-fold increase in manual force, while the micro-structured cutting edges allow for easy cutting of large cross-sections. Additionally, the cutters have a gripping surface below the joint for pulling wires and are made from chrome vanadium heavy-duty steel that is forged and multi-stage oil-hardened.
