Great road slick alternative

"I got the 35mm size to give a little more cush to a tandem that was running 28mm tires. I'd go bigger, but I have limitations on tire clearance. These tires were the toughest to put on my rims that I've ever fought with. Putting them on in my garage was tough --- changing a flat in the field would be even more challenging. I broke 1 tire lever and wrecked 1 tube doing it. I'm not a pro tire changer --- but I think I'm a good recreational changer. I'm not running tubeless as I don't ride enough to make the higher maintenance pay off. I do run tubeless on my mountain bikes, so I know it works well, but also comes with a bit of extra work. I have these tires on another bike that is used on the road and absolutely love them"
