"I couldn't fairly review this item because it was so small, I couldn't get them on. I kept another Pearl Izumi shammy short in XS, but this sugar short was not made with as stretchy Material and it didn't go much past my knees, trying to put them on. The sizing was such a surprise that I thought maybe I had a dud."

"These are my go-tp shorts when cycling long distances. The length is perfect, they run true to size, and they hold up over many miles, washes, sun, rain, etc. I own several and they are my favorite."
Why does Pearl Izumi think all female cyclist are tiny?
"I put my old sugar shorts in XL from about 15 years ago against my new 2XL shorts and the new shorts are actually slightly smaller than the old pair that is a size smaller. Pearl Izumi, I love your stuff, but why do you insist on making your gear so d*&m small? I'm going to have to find a new cycling brand, after nearly 3 decades dedicated to your brand, because I don't fit into them anymore. Please, either make a truly plus size line or get back to your sizing from 15 years ago."
