"Overall, pretty happy with these for the price. I like that they come with a liner and decent quality chamois. I mainly purchased for the trusted name of P. I. and the features offered- The pockets, in particular, which put contents to the side as opposed to front or back. I will say that the pockets take a little getting used to, as does the single clasp over the zipper. I found myself fiddling w/both of those a little on the trail but I imagine that once you wear them for a few rides, you get more proficient. Once everything is in place, however, I sort of forgot about the shorts and focused on riding, which is what I'm generally after. I'm not above buying ugly or weird colored riding gear in order to get the most bang for the buck (often as clearance items) but I didn't have to make any bold choices here as colors are tasteful and there aren't any loud graphics or oddball cuts in the fabric that stand out. It's just a sensible pair of riding shorts w/some useful bells and whistles at a reasonable price."
