Description

Stan’s Sealant is a thin, low viscosity liquid that coats the tire interior and seals punctures quickly. Two ounces of Stan's in a tubeless tire can repair punctures up to 1/4" to keep you rolling. Stan's Tire Sealant is formulated to stay liquid in tires for up to seven months. Arid conditions require more frequent monitoring of sealant levels, but anti-freezing agents in our special formula allow Stan's Tire Sealant to be used in temperatures as cold as -30° F. One quart can convert up to 16 tires.

  • Suitable for use in tubeless tires and standard tubes
  • Designed to seal punctures up to 1/4"
  • Stable down to -30 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Non-hazardous, non-corrosive, non-toxic

My go-to sealant for over

"My go-to sealant for over a decade. After trying so many, this and the Joe's are definitely the best performing everyday sealants. Only cons- can dry off quicker in real warm climates, and not compare with some sensitive tires (ammonia). Otherwise, its perfect."

I had a recent tear

"I had a recent tear in my sidewall 30 miles from home. Had some duct tape in my pack, but no tube. (I know, bad form. They were on order though). So broke the bead cleaned off the Stans as best I could, put duct tape on the inside casing over the tear, then super glued on the outside. Long story short, it took me many pump ups along the way, but Stan’s got me home. After doing some research when I got home, I ordered some nylon thread and curved needles and stitched the tear and super glued over the top. After 3 days and a couple of rides, it is still holding air. Time to change the tire now, but I’m pretty impressed with Stan’s."

Reliable sealant, 1l is always useful

"No complaints, I use either Stan's or Orange sealant, both work well. 1L bottle is convenient if you have several wheels to top up."

Seals well

"Pricey milky sealant works well and was offered at a discount. There are other more affordable options that I would like to try. Truckers cream is significantly chaper for example and has good reviews."
