This chainring's tooth profile was developed specifically for Shimano's XTR, XT, and SLX 12-speed Hyperglide+ chain.
- Compatible only with Hyperglide+ chains
- Engineered proprietary tooth profile maintains the quiet and smooth performance of the HG+ drivetrain with optimal chain retention
- Prevents premature ring and chain wear that can come from non-optimized profiles
- Chainrings fit on the Shimano XTR M9000 and M9020 1x or 2x cranksets
- Use only the stock Shimano XTR chainring bolts (M7)
- Made from 7075-T6 aluminum for long life
- Use of a clutch-style rear derailleur is recommended
